Loyal fans have been patiently awaiting the return of Lyre's Highland Malt Whisky while it underwent relabeling to TRADITIONAL RESERVE. Same great tasting drink, different label.

This unique non-alcoholic spirit has been impossibly crafted to capture the essence of a blended malt whisky with flavours that are distinct and contemporary.

Lovely depth in flavour with influence of oak tannin and nutty grain characters. The subtle smoke contributes to a lift in the palate and balances the length which is firm and full.

The first Lyre’s product designed to be consumed on ice or neat as well as in classic cocktails.

What does Low Gluten mean?

In New Zealand the regulations state that products are low gluten if they have less than 20 parts per million (ppm). This differs to the UK where gluten free can be claimed at the same level. Therefore we market all our drinks with less than 20ppm as low gluten.

Can I get drunk drinking your drinks?

No! The amount of alcohol contained in a non-alcoholic drink is so low that it's simply not possible to consume enough liquid to the point where you feel intoxicated.

Can I drink your drinks if I'm driving, pregnant, breastfeeding or have been advised to avoid alcohol?

Yes! Our drinks contain up to 0.5% alcohol, similar to ripe fruit or juice. Research shows that it has no impact on the body and is fully fine in view of driving, pregnancy, an intolerance due to medication or health reasons. Please seek advice from your doctor if you're unsure.

Tastes pretty fake and more like a rum than a whisky.

Horrible !

Hate giving bad reviews . But this product tastes horrible. I'd never recommend it . However , the delivery, card and chocolate I received with the bottle was outstanding.

Lyre’s whiskey

This drink is pleasant and fine for a non alcoholic drink. I struggle to find the whiskey flavour though

Just like the real thing

It has the same taste as if you were drinking Whiskey neat and tastes like Whiskey and Coke if it was with alcohol. As a new non-alcohol drinker, it is perfect when drinking with friends.
I did some testing, and for me was best with Soda Stream Pepsi Max Vanilla, second best was Coke Zero. My recommended serving was 50ml, not 30ml.

Very disappointed

I really wanted to like this. So so disappointed. The taste is bland. Tasted like watered down green tea. I paired it with ginger beer. I only tasted the ginger beer. I tried it on its own - urgh!!
